MSK Ultrasound Workshop: Scanning Techniques and Highlights - Thailand
We are happy to announce that at the end of March GE Healthcare will be hosting a multi-modal musculoskeletal-imaging training program focusing on imaging & diagnosis of Shoulder muscles and joints, for entry level radiologists. Below is a snapshot of the content that will be covered during this half-day session.
MSK Imaging – Basic Level:
- Basic Imaging Anatomy and techniques in Imaging of Shoulder Rotator Cuff, muscles and Joints
- Imaging findings in Shoulder MSK pathologies
- Checklist based approach to various Musculoskeletal pathologies
- Imaging Optimization and techniques collation with Ultrasound physics
Key learning outcomes:
- Understanding the anatomy of various Joints in axial, sagittal and coronal planes
- Understanding the checklist-based approach in diagnosing Shoulder musculoskeletal pathologies
- An update to the present nomenclature and classification system used in MSK reporting
- Understanding the various scanning techniques to avoid anisotropy artifact
